Return Policy — Ama La Vita Boutique

At Ama La Vita Boutique, we want you to feel confident and beautiful in every piece you purchase. If something doesn't work out, we’re happy to offer store credit for eligible returns.

Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Within 14 days of purchase (in-store) or 14 days of delivery (online orders)

  • Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition

  • All original tags must be attached

  • Receipt or proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstance:

  • Items marked Final Sale

  • Jewelry

  • Hair products / hair accessories

  • Undergarments

  • Tights

  • Sunglasses

  • Gift cards

How to Return

In-Store Returns:

Bring your item(s) and receipt to Ama La Vita Boutique during store hours.

Online Orders:
Email us at info@shopamalavita.com with your order number to begin a return.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless an item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Store Credit Details

  • All eligible returns are issued as store credit only

  • No refunds will be issued to original payment methods

  • Store credit is issued as a digital or physical gift card

  • Credit never expires and can be used online or in-store

Exchanges

Exchanges are welcome if we have your preferred size or item in stock.
If an exchange is not available, store credit will be issued so you can find something else you love.

 

Dancewear Return Policy — Ama La Vita Boutique

We want every dancer to feel confident, supported, and comfortable in their dancewear. Due to the nature of performance apparel and footwear, our dancewear return policy is slightly different from our standard boutique returns. Please review the details below before purchasing.

Eligibility for Dancewear Returns

Dancewear items are eligible for return for store credit only under the following conditions:

  • Returned within 14 days of purchase (in-store) or 14 days of delivery (online)

  • Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition

  • All tags and original packaging must be intact

  • Receipt or proof of purchase is required

Dancewear Items That Are Not Returnable

For sanitary and safety reasons, the following dance items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Tights 

  • Undergarments / body liners

  • Toe pads, pointe accessories, or foot care items

  • Hair accessories for dance

  • Shoe pads, gel inserts, ribbon, and elastic once opened

Shoes

Dance shoes may be returned only if they are clean, unworn, and in brand-new condition with no signs of wear.

  • Shoes must not show marks, scuffs, dirt, or broken-down leather/satin from trying them on floors.

  • Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box (not taped or written on).

We highly recommend dancers try shoes on at home on carpet or a clean dance mat before class or rehearsal.

Leotards & Apparel

Dance leotards and apparel may be returned as long as:

  • All hygiene liners are intact

  • Items show no signs of wear, makeup, deodorant, fragrance, or sweat marks

If hygiene liner is removed or damaged, the item becomes Final Sale.

Exchanges

Exchanges are welcome if we have your preferred size or style in stock.
If not, store credit will be issued so you can find a different item you love.

Special Orders

Dance special orders—including shoes, leotards, costumes, and team apparel—are Final Sale and cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged once placed.
